    Eirini Sarrou

    5 Mar 08:17:00 AM

Dr. Eirini Sarrou (ES-Female) is researcher of Institute of Plant Breeding and Genetic Resources- Hellenic Agricultural Organization Demeter. She gained her PhD that focused on evaluating parameters such as biotic stress (drought and salinity), plant growth regulators/biostimulators, and genetic background affecting the products of secondary metabolism (essential oil and phenolics) from Citrus species. The last years her scientific background focus on advanced metabolomics (metabolite profiling using UPLC-Q-TOF, UPLC-MS-MS, HPLC-DAD, GC-MS) as tools for breeding of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (MAPs), while also their combination to conventional breeding strategies. She has published 12 articles as first author and was holder of one national postdoctoral research project and one postdoc fellowship. For this reason she will collaborate with AX under the supervision/cooperation with Dr. Stefan Martens and Dr. Athanasios Molasiotis.
